We've had a bit of a setback. We need to let you know what’s going on and how we’re fixing it.
Last year, one of our administrators created our Samhains Sirens Facebook fan page through her own personal account. When you create a page like this, you have the ability to post under your own name or under the group name.
This admin had a personal dispute with a couple of our Sirens over the weekend, and chose to make a public spectacle of the situation by logging into our group’s public Facebook page and posting some very ill-mannered words (we're being kind, and for those of you who saw it, we're so sorry) under the name 'Samhains Sirens'. She then proceeded to delete the page with our 512 followers in order to sabotage the entire group and to keep you wonderful folks from enjoying the fun we have planned for this year.
We apologize for the inconvenience and drama. She is clearly no longer a Siren, and we have created a new Facebook page for you to like and follow. But, also, did you notice our new look? We've made some changes here too! We have new vendors and bloggers and we're really looking forward to this upcoming year. Just know that we won't let a little thing like this get us down. We're #SirenStrong!
Please click here to like the page, and we look forward to a happy, drama-free October Extravaganza with all of you.
See you soon!!
