Her vision for this project was to bring together Pagan authors, bloggers, crafters and vendors under one umbrella to celebrate the Samhain season with the community. She is a Celtic American Witch who lives in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. She has raised five children as a single mom and home-schooled them all, and is a proud (young!) grandmother of 3. Amy Blackthorn
Rev. Amy Blackthorn does double duty in life as both a witch and ‘personal tea shaman’ but also as a personal defense coach.  She got her black belt in April 2002, and has worked as a certified firearms instructor, and has helped people reclaim their sense of self and safety since January of 2010.  She has been described as an "arcane horticulturalist" for her understanding of Green Witchcraft, her work as a Plant Spirit Oracle and her history of teaching hoodoo and the creation of herbal remedies.  Amy has 24 years in Paganism and various magical traditions. Amy started her formal schooling in horticulture, herbalism, and agriculture more than sixteen years ago, and somehow all of that higher education didn’t stamp out her love for the arcane, occult and mysterious. She has taught classes from Maryland to Toronto, Canada and out to Arizona. She has been called on to act as a Media liaison for ABC television, and the Sci-Fi Channel.  Her interviews have appeared in the Associated Press, Baltimore Sun, and Bankrate.com.

Angie Crabtree
I am a plain, old country girl from Tennessee. Wife, mother of one son, and Mamaw to two of the cutest little critters around. Retired after nearly 30 years of pet grooming, I enjoy showing our Chinese Cresteds and Bull Terriers in AKC dog shows. I rescue, foster, and help transport abused or abandoned Bull Terriers, giving them a second chance at their forever homes. I volunteer for Donate Life Tennessee helping others understand the joys and benefits of organ donation, and I'm a die-hard Washington Redskins fan! I began working in stained glass over 25 years ago as a hobby, but after so many requests, I'm working at making it a business. I thoroughly enjoy the magick of watching a piece come to life! I officially started down my pagan/witchy path a year ago, but the more I read and learn, the more I realize I have always been walking this path with the Great Spirit and Mother Earth. I'm pretty sure my Cherokee ancestors all let out a collective sigh of relief when my light bulb finally switched on, and they could rest a bit.

Autumn Noel
Autumn Noel  is a kitchen witch, who loves coffee, wine and reruns of Sex and the City. She has two beautiful witchlet girls, two adorable doggy babies, and although she isn’t much of a cat person, a black cat who she thinks makes her look witchy. She resides in the middle of suburbia, but has a longing to move to a little farm somewhere, as long as a Target is within driving distance! She loves to share her passion for the turning of seasons with her growing family through Sabbat celebrations and domestic witchery…cooking and crafting, and on rare occasion attempts at baking. She started her pagan and “witchy” journey in 2010, and has enjoyed learning and growing spiritually for the past five years.  She has thoroughly enjoyed reading Samhain’s Sirens since it’s debut, and joined the group in 2014. C.L. Luciole
C.L. Luciole spent a big portion of her childhood trying to understand why the Catholics of her community kept telling her magic was evil when such wonders could only be a gift from God, right? As a young teenager she picked up a copy of The Spiral Dance by Starhawk and knew instantly that she had found what she was looking for. She has walked the path of the Witch ever since. She spent two decades studying various traditions of paganism and witchcraft and, finding none that truly spoke to her heart, finally decided to take her accumulated knowledge and start her own tradition and the Covenant of the Starspun Grove and The Starspun Path was born. She is now the High Priestess of a thriving coven and community group in her area of Northeast Ohio and is committed to serving her community to the very best of her ability. That typically comes with a healthy dose of brutal honesty and plenty of sass and is known in her community for her irreverent nature.  Find C.L. at her blog; Be Wary, Bitches!: http://bewarybitches.wordpress.com/

Kathleen Lane
Kathleen grew up in a family with one side Native American and the other side Irish Quakers. Her grandmother on the Native side was instrumental from the beginning in how her beliefs developed. Her grandmother taught and led her through a strong acquaintance with the Earth Mother and that has never changed. She is married and has three children and her son lives with her  in Pittsburgh. As an adult, she delved into the Irish side of the family and added to her Earth Mother with Celtic traditions. She is a Virgo and a Master Gardener in two states, but her rising Aquarius and her moon in Aquarius have certainly influenced her behavior. An insatiable curiosity has led her into many paths and studies, but the one constant is The Mother.

Kourtney Leaf
Kourtney is the mother of two beautiful daughters and the wife to an amazing man! She's a Gnostic Pagan practicing solitary and has been on the path for nearly 12 years now. She is truly honored to be a returning siren and part of this amazing project!!

Melissa "Chicky" Cassick

Chickyn Jane Cassick has been writing all her life, though in her diapered days, her choice of medium was dubious. She began scribbling her name on the walls of the boys bathroom in first grade, and quickly progressed to humorous limericks, and a senior thesis on why John Taylor was the hottest member of Duran Duran. Once her children began arriving, she rarely had time to write more than a single word on a scrap of paper with a broken crayon, but now that they are old enough to be locked in their bedrooms for lengthier amounts of time, she has loftier goals. She joined the Sunday Stew Chefs in 2013. She is a member Alliteratives Anonymous, though her efforts in that endeavor have been lamentably lackadaisical, and frankly fruitless. She has been a pagan since high school, a Chickyn since 1989, and a sarcastic snot since the egg split. She lives in Buffalo, New York, with the most gorgeous man in the universe, four children, two cats, four guinea pigs, and a chihuahua named Biscuit, who wisely keeps her opinions to herself.

Junior Siren Margery Cassick
Margery Cassick is an enthusiastic young woman who cares little what she is being enthusiastic about. Whatever she is doing, she is IN THE ZONE. She loves coloring, reading, playing with her dollies, and riding her bike. She wants to be "a police" when she grows up. Her favorite Pixie Hollow fairy is Periwinkle. Her record for number of times watching "Frozen" in a single day stands at four.

Paula Lupi

I am so happy to be able to share some of my favorite Paleo dishes with you!  Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is Paula. I am a mother of 3, my eldest being 24 years old.  We are a military family. I am an Army Brat and 8 year Army Veteran, my husband is an Army Retiree, and our middle child is currently serving in the Navy.
A couple of years ago I realized I needed to get back in control of our health.  Our society has made it easy for people to cook with boxed dishes and extra large meat portions.  With my husband being a Type 2 Diabetic and our waist sizes increasing, I decided I needed to get in touch with a good friend of mine, who is a Nutritionist. She taught me a lot and I learned to listen to my body. I no longer eat a lot of gluten, it made my insides gurgle and hurt, and I do not cook with processed foods.  My husband's numbers are within range now and we are hoping to get him completely off his medication. I also started shopping at a local Amish Market, where I purchase our meats, eggs, and dairy products - I love them because the animals are naturally raised without the use of steroids, antibiotics, and growth hormones. And best yet no GMOs are used! And yes, I purchase Organic and Non-GMO fruit and vegetables too, if I am not growing them.
I look forward to hearing how you like the recipes!
Slàinte! Paula

Rita found her life purpose in bringing Magick to our world through creation of REAL Magickal Grimoires and Book of Shadows.  Therefore LaPulia Studio, Inc. - a magickal bookbindery was founded in 2005 where possibility became a reality.

"I create my Magickal Books  by bringing them from the unseen world to our world - world of forms. I create them well and I infuse each with the energy - with the magickal energy. Each one of my books is an artifact of itself.

Besides being of the highest quality, all of the materials I choose for my books have no seals, marking, or watermarks (including those  that cannot be seen  - for example, on the reverse side of the leather).

According to the same traditional rules, all other materials "pristine clean or virgin clean", meaning that all of them were purchased brand new and have not previously been used. After the purchase, all of them undergo special ceremony to remove the excess energy left from producing, packing, unpacking and etc.  After Book is created a special charging and consecration ritual is performed upon completion of which a Book is considered as "Born to Magick"!

You can find Rita's shop, Lapulia Studio, Inc. both on Facebook and online.

Snow Moon
IN MEMORIAM:  Snow Moon passed away earlier this year. She was one of our biggest fans and greatest supporters. We miss her terribly.
Snow Moon was a solitary witch, who as long as she could remember, felt and experienced what some may classify as a ‘heightened awareness’, combined with a strong pull to the ‘otherworld’ & occult.

Along with her love & studies of Astronomy, and Astrology, this combination ultimately guided her towards the paths of Witchcraft and Wicca. Around 12 years of age, Snow had acquired her first tarot deck, thanks to her mom. Upon busting open the proverbial door of the ‘broom closet’, she enthusiastically participated in, and followed her magical path.

Snow’s ‘first loves’ were reading, writing, travelling, and animals, and ANYTHING HALLOWEEN!

She loved the colors, foods, decor, and magic of the Autumn, along with the beauty, silence, and ethereal quality of a snowy winter’s day. Naturally, her favorite holidays were Samhain/Halloween, and Yule. She was a beautiful soul, and the Summerlands are better for her arrival.

Tanaria Lightbearer
Tanaria Lightbearer is an eclectic shamanistic witch who has been practicing for 25 years. She has been interested in all things spiritual, philosophical and occult from a very young age. She hunted through all the world's organized religions before finding her calling from the Goddess and God. She is the founder of Clan of the Wildlings, an eclectic coven in North Carolina and South Wake Spiritual Community, a Meetup-based interfaith group.

In her personal and professional life, Tanaria is a longtime archer, martial artist, hunter, yogini, trekker, explorer, mountaineer, healer, teacher, seeker, poet, artist and paddler. She is most at home outdoors, in mountainous forested terrain.

Volante Carlson

I'm 35 years on this plane of existence. I've been married for 13 of those years, have 4 minions of my own to help do my bidding. 😉 I am a healer and if I must label my path its somewhere of a mix of kitchen witch and hedge witch. I've been walking this path since I was 16, but only in the last 5 years, I would say, have I really found myself and come into my own, as it were. I just opened up my brick and mortar shop in June of this year. Its been a dream of mine for more than 16 years.
For this years giveaway, I'm offering 2 of my handcrafted items. A lip balm and healing salve. I love the healing salve the most, as I'm a klutz in the kitchen on the best of days (we joke no meal is complete unless I've managed to injure myself in some way 😉) My salve has proven itself in so many ways I'm still amazed by it. As the wheel turns from autumn to winter, the lip balm will be wonderful to have on hand as well.
Thanks for joining us this year!
Brightest Blessings, Volante
